What students can expect from my class
Well-rounded, creative sequences, challenges to balance and strength are especially fun to offer student. I love to offer hands on adjustments to help students find their most optimal postures and improve their practice. I love smiles and jokes, and you will find I make those as active part of class as well. I am super passionate about alignment, coming from a place of rehabilitating injury, I understand the importance of stacking the body in the correct form to allow for maximum strength and to cultivate the most positive energy during the practice.
I practiced Shaolin Kempo for 4 years when I was in high school, and my sensei ‘s back then inspired me to practice martial arts as an art form, rich with meditative practices as well as physical strengthening challenges. I take the same approach to yoga now. I believe the ultimate goal is the same with both and I teach classes that guide students to cultivate the art form. From flowing and graceful vinyasa, to well aligned, strengthening power classes, my ultimate goal is to inspire students to move from the heart and let all movements be an expression of the celebration of life, self love and the union of the physical body, mind and spirit. I am infinitely grateful for the opportunity to teach and grow with my students. Look forward to seeing you on the mat!
