Michael M. challenges for the Muay Thai Kickboxing Vancouver Title and Victor Tiapis does his MMA Vancouver Debut and brother Francis has a tough Muay Thai match coming.
Michael Milosiewicz is challenging Chad Gerow for his Canadian Muay Thai Kickboxing title in Vancouver at the Fraserview Hall. Victor Tiapis is competing against Mike Jeffrey in their Pankration/MMA debuts and brother Francis Tiapis is fighting Chris Carlo Chua, a multi title holder, in a Muay Thai match.
The guys are training hard and will prepare for their best fights of their lives. They are excited for victory. OSU!
Michael has been training Muay Thai Kickboxing Vancouver for under a year at my school and has won his last 2 matches representing Posener’s Pankration and Muay Thai. His first match was against a very tough Matt Davis in the United States and it was a very close fight. Michael then fought a fighter from Champions at an event in Vancouver at the Fraserview Hall. He stopped that opponent in devastating fashion by first round knock out. I guess the promoters were impressed and decided to give Michael a chance to challenge for the title against Chad. Chad won the vacant title in a close match against my student Victor Wang. Victor fought his heart out and, in my opinion, the fight was so close the decision could have gone either way.
Francis is coming off a 1st round high kick victory agains a tough fighter from the states and now faces a fighter who has won a couple of belts. If Francis Tiapis wins this one he should be ready to challenge for a Muay Thai title.
