Martin and Ayrton in final stages of qualifying for Jr. Black belt in Pankration/Mixed Martial Arts for Kids MMA VancouverÂ
They have tested in a 3 hour test, sparred 5 rounds,  completed the required preliminary training, competed in a tournament in submission wrestling to challenge their spirit, and have submitted an essay on the meaning of martial arts, as it relates to themselves. Martin’s essay is forthcoming. They competed against each other for the silver and bronze medal. The Gold was won by a much more experienced competitor. They are both displaying a positive, strong, required attitude. They have both been training in our style for quite a few years and have gone through some ups and downs but are steadfast and progressing nicely. They are going to be good leaders and examples for Kids MMA Vancouver.
